She has asked the filmmaker to reduce the number of intimate scenes in the film she is co-producing with Madhur.
Mirror has it that the actress has demanded that the sexual content of the film, which is the story of an item girl who becomes a politician, be toned down substantially.
A source revealed, "Priyanka and Madhur are working closely on the script and recently, she expressed her reservations to him. Most of the scenes which she objected to appear in the first half of the film. There are some intense love- making scenes and Priyanka wants some of those edited out."
Madhur, who is currently busy with the small budget flick Calendar Girls, is taking a second look at the script to see if it allows for changes. Madamji will be Priyanka's second outing with Madhur after Fashion which won her a National Award for Best Actress. In the 2008 film too she had made him change the climax. The original end had Priyanka, an ambitious small town girl who becomes a supermodel, getting pregnant. But she had vetoed the idea. Both Madhur and Priyanka remained unavailable for comment.
