Content with the encouraging response to his "Apaharan", producer-director Prakash Jha has now decided to go ahead with his next project, "Rajniti". The film will depict India's politics, past and present.

"The subject of the film has been very close to my heart and that's the film I wish to concentrate on next," Jha revealed.

With "Rajniti" he will continue the tradition of exploring social themes.

But he is working on other subjects as well.

"There are a few other subjects that I am working on but somehow I keep getting drawn to films with a social relevance," he smiled.

He is excited about the response to "Apaharan" in his hometown Bihar, where the film is running to packed houses.

"The film has been released in 37 cinemas there and it has been drawing record crowds all over. I think the people there have connected very well to the film."
