Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was released on bail after being arrested for allegedly hitting a boy with his Land Cruiser Friday night in suburban Andheri, police sources said in Mumbai Saturday.

A thirteen-year-old boy was hurt when the land-cruiser, driven by the actor, ran into him, sources said.

The actor then took the injured boy to a nearby private hospital and informed the police about the mishap, police sources said.

Accident took place near Bhavans College in Andheri at about 1.30 am. The injured boy was discharged from the hospital this morning, sources said.
