Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan's wife Jaya Bachchan and their son Abhishek visited the Siddhivinayak temple early this morning to pray for his well-being, who is recovering from intestinal surgery at the Lilavati hospital here.

Jaya and Abhishek were accompanied by family friend and filmmaker Goldie Behl. They attended the early morning 'aarti' at the temple.

Meanwhile, the hospital authorities said no decision has been taken on the discharge of Amitabh, who is in the hospital for over ten days.

A spokesperson said Bachchan was recovering well and the doctors were happy with his progress.

However, Bollywood actor John Abraham, who was treated for viral fever and typhoid at the same hospital, was discharged this morning.
