An arbitration petition, seeking direction to restrain a multiplex here from offering space for a restaurant to Bollywood actor Dharamendra and his star-sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, was filed in the Bombay High Court today.

The petition, filed by Sheetal Karamchandani, a businesswoman, will come for hearing next week.

According to the petition, Ms Karamchandani was allotted space for starting a beer and wine shop at the multiplex, Fun Republic, in suburban Andheri. She claimed that she had deposited Rs 1 lakh with the management a year back and spent another Rs 4 lakh on setting up the beer shop.

However, the respondent, Fun Republic owners, suddenly changed their mind and entered into a contract with Dharamendra, Sunny and Bobby Deol for starting a restaurant at the multiplex, it was submitted in the plea.

Ms Karamchandani sought direction to Fun Republic not to proceed with the contract with the actors till the disposal of her petition.

Besides Fun Republic, the actors have also been made respondents in the petition.
