Actor and MP Dharmendra was rushed to a super-speciality heart hospital at Mohali near here Friday night after he complained of chest pains.

Cardiologists at Fortis Hospital performed various tests on the actor, including an electro-cardio gram (ECG), hospital officials said.

Dharmendra was rushed to the hospital at 8.30 p.m. from the Taj Hotel where he was staying.

He was in the city for the shooting of his home production "Apne", which features Dharmendra with his two sons - Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol - for the first time.

Shooting for the film - which also stars Katrina Kaif in the female lead - was being held at locations in and around Chandigarh for the past four days.
