It was a double celebration of sorts for the Darshan brothers! Suneel Darshan`s Ek Rishta-The Bond Of Love celebrated silver jubilee, while younger Dharmesh Darshan completed the shooting of Haan...Maine Bhi Pyar Kiya (HMBPK), a film starring Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor.
Karisma who has been the cynosure of the media`s eye for her impending marriage to Abhishek Bachchan, was unmindful of the press as she sat close to him and the couple spoke to each other in whispers. However, Karisma denied rumors about her immediate marriage plans. "My career is going great guns and I have been offered some of the most prestigious banners. I also hope to be cast in our home production RK banner. So there`s time for me to settle down," she clarified. Coincidentally, HMBPK has Karisma and Abhishek play husband and wife while Akshay plays himself, that is a typical Bollywood hero.
Sunil Darshan on the other hand, had a hard time urging the press photographers to click the whole team together and not just the Abhishek and Karisma. Worse, he feared that if he released the stills of the film, the press might just cut Akshay out of the snap to make an exclusive pic of the courting couple. "I don`t want any controversies. So I make sure that the press understands what I mean." The film incidentally will release on Valentines` day.
