The 3-week ordeal at the Bachchans' finally seems to be coming to an end. On Monday morning the famous man of the house was strolling in the luscious lawns of Prateeksha and waving to the swelling crowds outside.
He has started to eat, sleep and talk normally. He meets visitors and spends a reasonable amount of time talking with them.
Though AB Sr would take a while to get back into the studios, it's time for the devoted son to do so.
Abhishek has reluctantly resumed shooting . Though he'd have liked to be with his dad for a bit longer, he left on Monday afternoon for Jaipur to join the waiting unit of J.P.Dutta's lavish costume drama Umrao Jaan.
Though the cast and crew initially tried to make do with the leading man's absence, Abhishek's non-availability had begun to become a growing worry for the project.
Throughout the ordeal J.P. Dutta remained completely at one with Abhishek's anxiety "It couldn't be helped. Being by his ailing dad's side was something any son would want to do. Now that he's joining us we'll try our best to make up for lost time," said JP as he waited for his leading man to finally land in Jaipur.
Rushing through a thousand chores , in and out of the AB Corp office Abhishek rushed to the airport.
"I'm at JP Saab's disposal now. He's welcome to use my services as he likes," said Abhishek before leaving Mumbai for Jaipur to shoot with Aishwarya Rai and the rest of the cast.
He's expected to be with the unit for at least the next fortnight.
