After extending support to the Jaipur franchise of Pro-Kabaddi - he owns the team Jaipur Pink Panthers - actor Abhishek Bachchan apparently has plans to start a kabaddi academy in the city.

Says a source, "The actor's team recently won the professional kabaddi tournament and he is now all set to start a kabaddi academy in Jaipur. He is already in talks with the Rajasthan government for the same."

The source adds that the academy will mostly be named after the actor's team, Jaipur Pink Panthers. "Though Abhishek is already talking to officials within the Rajasthan government, everything is at the planning stage right now. He will make an announcement only once things have been finalised," says a source close to the actor.

Interestingly, the actor recently expressed an interest in starting a women's kabaddi league in the future. Abhishek remained unavailable for comment.
