Remember Mona Chopra from that forgettable Time Pass?

Well... you can call her the latest 'sleaze cheez' of Bollywood but Mona Chopra is certainly not doing 'Time Pass' by shedding her clothes for every movie she is signing. She has bigger plans figured out for her.

Today Chopra has half-a-dozen movies on hand, including Dosti, which released this week, and Red Swastika, where she plays a serial killer. While her male co-star in ‘Time Pass', Arjun Punj, may have shied away from smooching her on screen, Mona made sure actor Bobby Deol felt at ease while doing intimate scenes with her in Dosti.

Says Mona, "Initially, Bobby was shy and withdrawn when it came to the cosy, love scenes. I took the initiative and broke the ice, and soon, we managed to add spice to the scenes. While Bobby plays a Casanova, I play a girl with a daily change of boyfriends. His character is so fidaa over me, that he dares to sneak into my room in a girls' hostel for an overnight fling."

Ask her if she dervies her inspiration from Mallika Sherawat and she says, "My inspiration is Angelina Jolie; I loved her performance in Gia, as a supermodel drug addict. For me, skin-show is essential for my performances."

Mona is not too worried about getting slotted as a sexy siren. She defends her "dare to bare" agenda as being script backed and scoffs at her co-stars who shy away from passionate lip locks on screen.

"Yes that's right. It's quite crazy that some unprofessional male co-stars develop cold feet when it comes to hot lip-lock shots. Eventually, the scene loses its impact," chuckles Mona.
