After starring in M F Hussain`s `Gajagamini`, Madhuri is now taking her `role` seriously. The diva has been much distressed about elephants being killed in Assam. When she heart that 31 elephants had been killed in 70 days recently, she immediately put pen to paper and requested the state government to take an active part in saving the pachyderms.
She has also been actively involved with PETA of late and has virtually sworn that she will not be associated with any film where animals are ill-treated on the sets. Good for you Mads - remember, Elephants don`t forget!
