Out of Mahesh Bhatt's three releases this year, two have turned out to be hits - "Zeher" and "Kalyug".

The Bhatt brothers have established that even small budget films on contemporary subjects with no big stars can rule the box office. And films need not rely on big stars and big budgets anymore.

This year the Bhatt brothers consolidated their position as good film marketers. Besides they have also hit upon the formula to make musical hits.
