Bollywood actors and former theater artists Kunal Kapoor and Arshad Warsi are all set to breathe life into an iconic old play from the 80s which is making its comeback this December. Produced by Ashvin Gidwani Productions and directed by the coveted Bharat Dabholkar, this play made history in 80s and was a favourite among all theater enthusiasts.

After bringing successful plays like History of India VIRritten, Blame It on Yashraj, Battle of Da Sexes etc. that still run house-full after years, Ashvin Gidwani Production has been planning to bring a play that would take entertainment on an even higher level. Along with fun, drama, dance and comedy, the play will have star attraction with the presence of seasoned actors. While Kunal Kapoor is expected to act and do stand-up, Arshad Warsi is also expected to showcase his polished dancing skills after many years.


A source close to Arshad says, "Theater has come a long way from what it was back in the days when Arshad was a part of it. He is very excited to experience what it has become now." Kunal Kapoor has also expressed his enthusiasm and feels it would be even more rewarding to work with a director of Bharat,s caliber.

Bharat,s current play Blame It on Yashraj has been staged across the globe, and is soon to hit a century. He is now preparing to deliver the next hit, and anticipation builds as he gears up to direct two of Bollywood,s heartthrobs on stage!
