Helmed by the makers of Tanu Weds Manu, this movie promises a romantic twist. What's more, this relatively small cinematic endeavour has already caught the attention of many leading names in the industry, including Rohit Shetty and Rajkumar Hirani.
During the launch of Jigariyaa, Rohit called Jigariyaa a beautiful film. "One needs a jigar (courage) to make a film such as this. I am glad that Vinod Bachchan has made this film." After watching the film's trailer, Rajkumar said, "I belong to a small town and that's the reason I can relate to Jigariyaa. I really loved the trailer." He added that he would surely watch the film. "I want to wish all the best to the team behind this film; I can see that they have worked passionately on this project."
An overwhelmed Vinod says, "Raju Hirani saw the trailer and congratulated me for having done a good job; I am humbled by his words."
Jigariyaa is being presented by Wave Cinemas Ponty Chadha and produced by Raju Chadha and Vinod Bachchan. Starring Harshvardhan Deo and Cherry Mardia, the film is slated to release on October 10.
