If recent reports pertaining to movie's collections are to be believed then 'Bang Bang!' has raked in Rs 134.47 Crore gross at domestic BO besides reaping Rs. 41.14 crore in the overseas territories eversince its release on Oct 2.
Apparently inspired from Tom Cruise's 'Knight and Day' this Bollywood-ised action-packed cine chronicle of Siddhart Anand was made on a sky scrapping budget of 140 Crores.
Well call it the strategic release of the movie which made it eligible for the magnanuimity of the extended weekend or the legacy of Hrithik and his sizzling chemistry with Kat which fetched a massive footfall at the BO, but in any case movie is racing towards a record breaking junction.
The Critic-Proof Saga...
Even before the release of Bang Bang! there was a tremendous hype surrounding it, but as soon as movie made it to cine arena's it turned into a prey for critics ilk because of its run-of-a-mill kind of content. But in-spite of that audience gave 'Bang Bang!' a thumbs up and made it one of the biggest opener of the year.
