When asked Vivek Agnihotri about this, he said, "It's a very big platform for a very small film, and this film raises most important and sensitive national issues. I am delighted that such a politically volatile film will be staged at such a platform. This film is raised by the youth, for the youth, of the youth, It's that kind of film. So i am sure that all issues we have raised in the film are becoming so true now. That people who will see it will find them relevant."
