My first red carpet event was after the 2009 Miss World contest. I was at the Cannes Film Festival, where I walked the red carpet at the screening of the film, The Fish Tank. I felt absolutely ecstatic.

I wore a black and white gown designed by my mentor, Hemant Trivedi. Being there with the who's who of Hollywood and world cinema was a different feeling altogether.

My second red carpet outing was also at Cannes, when I attended the screening of The Bright Star. I was sporting a gold gown designed by Nikki Beach Lifestyle and jewellery from a high-end brand. It was pretty surreal.
