Telly actor Siddharth Shukla, who plays Shiv in Balika Vadhu, met with an accident at Juhu circle yesterday afternoon.

The incident occurred after he rammed his Mercedes Benz into an Indica while he was on his way home. Officials from DN Nagar police station took Shukla and the family that was travelling in the Indica to the police station. However, no complaint was registered.

In his statement to the police, Shukla said he had not been keeping well for the last few days and the accident occurred after he felt dizzy behind the wheel. This made him lose control over the vehicle. Officials only made a station diary of the incident.

An official from DN Nagar police station said, "Since there was no complaint registered, Shukla was allowed to go. We only gave him a warning. No medical tests were conducted on him."
