Big B enjoys Kolkata's street foods

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently filming Shoojit Sircar's 'Piku', treated his taste buds to local delicacies like kachoris and jalebis during the movie's shoot in Kolkata.

The 72-year-old actor stars along side Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan in the film, which explores the father and daughter relationship between Bachchan's and the 'Happy New Year' actress's characters.

"What a joy in trundling off on a cycle through the early morning streets of Kolkata, eating kachori, jalebi (for film only)," Bachchan posted on Twitter.

The actor is also set to attend the star-studded inauguration of the Kolkata Film Festival today along with his wife Jaya, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya.


"And tomorrow another early day on 'Piku', and then the inauguration of the KIFF, international film festival ..family coming in too," Bachchan tweeted last night.

The 20th Kolkata International Film Festival will run from November 10 to 17.
