Veteran Bollywood actress Tanuja was tonight admitted to a private hospital here after she complained of breathing trouble.

Belle Vue Clinic CEO P Tandon said the 70-year-old actress complained of breathing problem after which she was administered oxygen.

"Her condition is normal now," Tandon said.

Tanuja, mother of Bollywood actresses Kajol and Tanisha, was attending the dinner party of Kolkata International Film Festival at a city hotel here along with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee when she felt uneasy.

She was immediately taken to the private hospital.
