Actress Tanishaa Mukerji made heads turn in an elegant Neeta Lulla ensemble at the opening ceremony of 20th Kolkata International Film Festival recently. Tanishaa paired her beautiful white dress with stunning jewelry from Minerali and looked every bit of a diva. The evening was a grand affair which was attended by the Chief Minister of Kolkata Mamata Banerjee, King Khan of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Irrfan Khan, Madhabi Mukherjee, Amol Palekar, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Moushumi Chatterjee among other Bollywood celebrities.

This occasion is special for the actress as her mother Tanuja's Marathi film 'Pitruroon', is set to be screened at the festival on 11th November. It was Tanuja's return to the Marathi film industry after three decades.


The mother - daughter duo interacted with the Chief Minister and a host of well known faces from Bollywood and Bengali cinema at the event.

The prestigious 20th Kolkata International Film Festival will go on from the 10th - 17th of November 2014.
