As is well known, Nikhil Advani is directing 'Hero', a modernized remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 blockbuster 'Hero' with debutants Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. Interestingly, we have now learnt that in the film, which is being produced by Sooraj's mentor Salman Khan, his real life father Aditya Pancholi will be playing an important part.

Aditya plays the part of a notorious minister. In the film, Sooraj's character used to sell newspapers as a child at traffic junctions to support his mother, where Aditya originally spots him. His mother dies and Sooraj, due to some reason, lands up in jail.

Aditya brings Sooraj out of jail and adopts him like his son, training him in his notorious work. While we will need to see the film to know the full story, we eagerly await to see this new father-son jodi on screen.
