Freida to attend Nobel Peace Prize ceremony

Hollywood-based Indian actress Freida Pinto is all set to attend Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway and support Pakistani child education activist Malala Yousafzai and Indian child rights campaigner Kailash Satyarthi, who will be felicitated at the event Wednesday.

Malala and Satyarthi will receive a medal and $1.4 million in prize money.

Freida, also an activist, who was recently in the capital to promote girls' education, will represent her home country at the event, read a statement.

The "Slumdog Millionaire" star, who will attend both the award ceremony and the concert Thursday, will present Malala at the concert to the crowds.
