For quite some time now, industry insiders had been talking about Anurag Kashyap teaming up with Oscar-winning filmmaker Martin Scorsese for Hollywood projects. But, sources close to Anurag have now put an end to all speculations - yes, he's pursuing his Hollywood plans, but not with Scorsese.

A source says, "He will be collaborating with American producer Jason Blum, who has backed a string of horror films like Paranormal Activity, Oculus and Ouija. Since Anurag also has a penchant for thrillers, mysteries and all things dark, the deal worked out. In fact, an announcement is expected to be made soon about the tie-up."

The filmmaker, whose upcoming film 'Ugly' is set to hit the theatres this Friday, confirms the news, saying, "I have signed a contract with Jason Blum to produce 10 horror movies. So, the contract is with Jason Blum and not Martin Scorsese. I will be directing one of the films from the lot."
