The actress, who auditioned for the role via Skype, is excited to be a part of the play as it gives an opportunity to cross borders and learn things.
"It was a sudden call I got from the theatre company and I flew off within days and now I'm here in London rehearsing for the play. As an actor, I love the fact that I get such opportunities to work with a variety of people across borders and that's what makes being an actor so incredibly satisfying," she said in a statement.
The dramedy is currently in it's pre-production and rehearsal stage and is expected to go out on a three-country tour this summer.
The actress, who will be seen in "Badlapur" and "Manjhi - The Mountain Man", has another connection with London as well. She has studied dance in London.
