Ali Fazal was in for a shock very recently when a news of a scene between Debina and him was edited out of the movie Khamoshiyaan. While Ali has been busy promoting the film across the country, Ali learned of this through his friends and fans on twitter.

News reports claimed that; Gurmeet Choudhary who plays the parallel lead in the movie and is husband of Debina wasn't comfortable with the scenes between Ali and his wife.


Ali clarified, "Debina and I have a very small scene together where she plays my ex-girlfriend. The news which claims that I have an intimate scene is both appalling and false. There is no validation or truth because I never shot any such scene with Debina. So editing out such a scene which literally doesn't exist is far from the truth. Plus no actor is involved in the editing of Khamoshiyaan. That complete left unto Karan Dhara, Mahesh Bhatt, Vikram Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt.
