​The Official inauguration session of the Customs Co-operation Council was held in Brussels on the 26th Jan 1953. But India celebrates International Customs Day every year on the 27th January. This year Mumbai Customs has decided to celebrate this day in a befitting manner.

Worlds Custom Organization has decided to celebrate the day with the theme "Coordinated Border Management" and as part of the celebrations members of the trade and industries,senior level officials of other departments like Central Excise,Service Tax,Income Tax ,Police etc and other stakeholders will be invited to the function.


Known to be a responsible public figure and a premier sports icon in the country, the Commissioner of Customs has invited Abhishek Bachchan to attend the function as a special guest
