Actors usually work towards getting a fit physique for their movies, but choreographer-actor Ganesh Acharya says he gained around 30 to 40 kg for his forthcoming film "Hey Bro".

"I was 160 kg, and and I gained another 30 to 40 kg for this film. It was the demand of the script to gain extra kilos, so I had to gain some more weight for this film," Ganesh said.

"I have also done action scenes and I'm satisfied with my work in this film. I'm sure everybody will like it," he added.

"Hey Bro" revolves around two brothers Gopi and Shiv. Directed by Ajay Chandhok, the action comedy features Ganesh, Maninder and Nupur Sharma in lead roles, with Hanif Hilal featuring as the villain.

The film also has a promotional song which features stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn. Acharya says he is thankful to the film fraternity.

Govinda has done a cameo in this film. I'm thankful to the film fraternity who supported my film with their presence."

Ganesh's wife Vidhi has turned producer for the first time with the movie.
