Hours after Aditya Pancholi was arrested for allegedly assaulting a bouncer at a suburban night club in Juhu, Mumbai, he managed to get out on bail. But when he was produced before a holiday court on Sunday, he turned an entertainer, much to the amusement of onlookers.
Says a source, "As soon as he entered the courtroom, he started shouting 'Ganpati bappa Morya'. That was followed by a series of situational songs and digs directed at lawyers and mediapersons."
Pancholi is said to have had refused to share a bench with other convicts and tried to walk out of the courtroom. "When the cops stopped him, he told them he wanted to get some fresh air. He was acting funny when a tall guy asked him to purse his lips. Pancholi warned him, 'Zyada mat bolo warna lambe ho jaaoge' (Don't talk too much or else you will grow tall). All this happened in the absence of the judge," adds the source.
The actor poked fun at journos and also sang a few songs, including 'Tu na Hindu banega na Musalman' and 'Sajan re jhoot mat bolo'.
