Hrishitaa Bhatt is back in news after a long hiatus. Though she has shared the screen with Bollywood bigwigs like Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, the association has not worked wonders for her.

Interestingly, she has refused to do item numbers in films. The actress will now be seen in a small-time film Jigyaasa, which is set for release soon.

When questioned about her films in the past and her association with Jigyaasa now, she says, "Yes, despite working with some of the top stars in the industry, I was not offered good roles. Instead, I was offered item numbers which I refused to do. I don't want to be known as an item number girl.

"I am an intense actress and want to make a mark as a good actress. I have refused plenty of offers since the roles were either not up to the mark, or were not interesting."
