The Reddy junior, who was last seen in Taxi No 9211 opposite John Abraham is now approached to play the central character
in a British production to be adapted from the novel Brick Lane, which has been nominated for the pulitzer award and authored by the Bengali writer Monica Ali.
Producers apparently decided to zero in on the actress after having seen her in Kaal Purush - a hit in the festival circuit.
