Rajinikanth can jump from the top story of a building and land on his feet. Rajinikanth once banned a man from showing his face in public. Today he's best known as Bigg Boss. Rajinikanth can just stare at a babe and make her go nuts over him. Rajinikanth can bring down a plane with his finger. But if Rajinikanth has to stop a Mumbai film producer from releasing a film in his name, he has to approach the court.

And that's what the Indian Chuck Norris did when a maker titled a film Main Hoon Rajinikanth and allegedly put in a reference to the actor and his family.

Rajini rushed to the court to stop the film from release and seems to have succeeded the legal battle. The production company has agreed to remove the superstar's name from its publicity posters and his reference from a scene in the film.

A compromise has been struck between the two parties. "Lol, even the law favors Rajinikanth," Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar tweeted in jest.

As per the compromise, the film's producer has given an undertaking to the court stating that, as alleged, it had not put Rajinikanth's image and caricature and used his unique style of delivering dialogues in the film. He also agreed to remove the actor's name from the film's title.

The production company said that the title may now be changed to Main Hoon Part-Time Killer or any other title not having the word 'Rajinikanth'. The court said that the producer could approach the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and get the title rectified within 10 days.

The film is produced by Mrs Saroj and directed by Faisal Saif. Earlier reports have stated that it stars Adithya Menon as 'Rajinikanth Rao', Kavita Radheshyam as 'Mallika' and Shakti Kapoor as 'Bachchan'. Gee! That's quite some potential for controversy.
