Rumoured lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have been busy with their respective work commitments for a while now. So, when they met on Wednesday night at a mutual friend's birthday bash, they partied till late hours.

A source says, "Katrina was recently in London to unveil her wax statue. Ranbir was supposed to accompany her, but couldn't due to his film's shoot in Simla. When she returned to the city, Ranbir had still not come back.

On Wednesday, they got a good opportunity to unwind together at one of their common friends' birthday celebrations. Ranbir was in a jovial mood and stayed close to Kat all through the party."
