The crew members of Aap Ki Khatir while shooting for the film actually saw a spirit roaming around the palatial villa at Knighton in London. And they claim it belongs to former governor general Lord Clive.
Actor Sunil Shetty said, "It's beautiful, but isolated countryside, and the palace we were shooting in belonged to Lord Clive. Initially, a crewmember reported a ghostly experience, but nobody believed him. As the days passed, all the crewmembers were convinced there was a spirit roaming around. But I've not personally felt it."
"Our actors were not staying at that villa, so they were fortunate enough not to experience anything uncanny. But they have been talking about it, and we informed Dharmeshji as well. Thankfully, the spirit was harmless", said a crewmember.
But our brave actresses, Priyanka and Amisha were unaffected by the sightings.
Aap Ki Khaatir is a romantic film said to be based on the Hollywood flick, The Wedding Date (2005) starring Debra Messing, who hires a male escort to pose as her boyfriend at her sister's wedding.
The movie is due for a release this August in UK.
