The buzz is that photographer-turned-producer Subi Samuel's debut film "Alag" falls in the genre of "Superman" and is similar to Rakesh Roshan's "Krrish".
Directed by Ashu Trikha, the film revolves around the character played by Akshay Kapoor - first seen in "Popcorn Khao Mast Ho Jao" - who has special electromagnetic
powers and anything electrical in nature reacts to him.
Whenever he is upset, electric bulbs in the room start flickering. And when he tries to speak while angry, the energy reaches such a point that bulbs and other glass objects
in the vicinity start breaking.
Gorgeous Dia Mirza plays a psychologist in the film, who reads minds. She isthe link between the hero and the outside world.
Alag is produced by Subi Samuel and Its music is composed by Aadesh Shrivastava.
