- Tejpal: Then and Now Tarun Tejpal, the founder of Tehelka, has been arrested on charges of raping a junior colleague after a court in Goa rejected his anticipatory bail plea.
- Shiela Ki Naadani Dikshit dismissed AAP as an electoral challenger. She said the Bharatiya Janata Party was an established political party and their main rival. "The less said about them (AAP) the better," she said.
- Jolly Act! Delhi BJP leader Vijay Jolly led a protest outside Shoma Chaudhury`s home and vandalised the exterior of the building. An embarrassed BJP condemned and disowned Jolly`s actions, and promised `Suitable Aaction` against him.
