Vivek Oberoi to Be Honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award for Indian Police Force!
Sources have confirmed that Vivek Oberoi is set to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF) Award 2025 for Best Supporting Actor (Male) for his performance in the web series Indian Police Force. The annual event, which honours excellence in Indian cinema and entertainment, will take place on October 30, 2025, at Dome, SVP Stadium, Worli, Mumbai.

Named after the father of Indian cinema, the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival has previously celebrated some of the most prominent names in the industry, including Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Nayanthara, among others. Oberoi now joins the list of acclaimed performers to be recognised for their work in digital storytelling.

Oberoi’s nomination and upcoming honour come for his portrayal of IPS Vikram Bakshi in Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force, a high-stakes action drama streaming on Amazon Prime Video. His portrayal of a resolute officer committed to protecting the nation drew strong reviews for its intensity and conviction, earning him both critical praise and audience appreciation.

Over the years, Vivek Oberoi has built a diverse repertoire with acclaimed performances in Company, Saathiya, Omkara, Krrish 3, and the web series Inside Edge.
