Mireia Verdu Tremosa

Mireia was born and grew up in barcelona, she is in her final year studying economics. Her ambition is to work in public relations. Mireia has also worked as a model since she was 13 years of age in both fashion shows and in catalogues in many countries worldwide. Her hobbies are: to study, read, swim, keep fit and she enjoys pop, rock, jazz and traditional spanish dancing. Her favourite food is pasta, rice and traditional spanish food. Her personal motto would be “be happy and help all the people that you can”.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
I’m a self-confident and amusing person, and I really want to help people who really need it.

Do you have a special or unusual talent? (what is it?)
I enjoy dancing

Where would you most like to visit in the world and why?
I would enjoy going to those countries where they have health, economic problems, third world countries to try to help them.

What is the best thing about your country?
Spain has too many good things to choose just one of them, but if I would have to choose just one I would say the open nature of spanish people and food.

If you were granted one wish, what would it be?
To win the miss world contest and have the opportunity to travel all over the world and to help people who really need it the best as I could.

If you were stuck on a desert island with one other person (famous or not) whom would you choose?
My parents for their unconditional help and because I think that I never love someone as much as I love them.

What is your message to all the other miss world contestants?
That we all are a distinct woman with the same interests and ambitions, and win or not win we should travel back to our country with a lot of happy memories, sincerest friendly relationships and richest experiences.
