Olga grew up with her family in Polotsk, a small historical town in the Republic of Belarus. On completing her secondary education she trained as a Hair Stylist and Make-up Artist, then worked as a stylist in a modelling agency. Olga is also studying design, as her ambition is to join her father, who is a designer, and open a design studio. Leisure/sports interests are: History, literature, visiting exhibitions, riding her bicycle, fitness, yoga and traditional folk dancing, she also enjoys collecting stone boxes. Her motto is "Treat people in a good way."
Where did you grow up? Tell us a little about your home town/city, and family.
I grew up in a very old Slav town, Polotsk. There are very many historical buildings, museums and monuments there. I love my family very much and we are on very good terms and get along jolly well.
What Jobs have you done? What was the most interesting/bizarre?
I worked as a stylist in a model agency. I like to make people more beautiful and elegant.
What are your career ambitions, how do you plan to realise them?
To become a professional designer and to open a design studio.
What is the proudest moment of your life? (Not including winning your National Title)
When I finished art college and studied a Belarussian folk dance. Also I went on theatre courses
What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
During the contest Miss Belarus I mixed my shoes up and put the left one on the right foot and the right one on the left one.
What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
I became more confident and strong.
Tell us about an interesting event you have attended, or a person that you have met.
After the contest my friend gave me a puppy I have been dreaming of all my life.
What would you like to do, if you became Miss World 2004?
I like children very much and I would like to help sick children and orphans.
If you had a personal motto what would it be?
Treat people in a good way.
