Artika Sari Devi

Student: University of Gajah Mada Yogyakarta, International Law and currently studying for master in notary public.

Interests: Social Activity, Traveling, Involving in my social activities have been my biggest interest since I was a teenage. I enjoy sharing and giving love to others to children. As I love adventure very much, I enjoy travelling most, to see and learn the new cultures, from others, interact with many people and trya ll kind of unque food & beverages.

Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
I have admired so much a woman named RA Kartini. She was one of the Indonesian women heroes who brought lost of changes for Indonesian women, especially in the field of education, striving for the same rights and opportunity for women to get education.

What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you (aside from winning your title) and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
chosen as an ambassador for F1 Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix at Kualalumpur. I had the chance to drive a car along the circuit before the event started. It was such a rare opportunity, and I was one of the lucky girls.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
I really wnt to join in a world wide organization which focuses on children education, trafficking development, etc & give contributions in the field of law, as it suits my education background. Soon I will be joining the National committee for children protection in Indonesia.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was raised in a very beautiful island in Sumatra, called Bangka Belitung island, which posses lots of beaches. The island has lots of white sandy beaches. My childhood was filled with various activities such as dancing theare/drama performances, singin, etc. As I was so active very big curiousity of many things my parents always let me devide what I wanted to do as long as I could achieve good achievement at school. I also had lots of pets in my house because I love animals, I have got dogs, 5 fishes and a turtle.

List any interesting or unsual jobs you may have had.
When I was in high school, one of my neighbours asked me a favour to take care of their children while they were out. it was such a difficult job for me becuase I had never been a babysitter before. But because I love kids very much, I was successful

What is your most unusual talent?
I can do cake decoration very well, thanks to my mom who owns a catering business, She has taught me many cooking skills, but I think cake decoration needs patience and training.
