Deewar
Deewar was a story of two impoverished brothers (Amitabh and Shashi Kapoor) who, after their family is betrayed by the misplaced idealism of their father, struggle to survive on the streets.
Deewar emerged as blockbuster hit of Amitabh's career and established him as the angry young man of Bollywood. Amitabh's iconic performance in the movie fetched him a Filmfare nomination for Best Actors category. -
Kabhi Kabhi
This Yash Chopra film was another path breaking movie of Big B's career. In the movie Amitabh digressed from the 'Angry Young Man' image and played the character of a romantic hero.
