Ata Pata Lapata

Direction: Rajpal Yadav.
The directorial debut flick of Rajpal Yadav Ata Pata Laapata is a musical satire with its roots embedded in the loopholes and exploited systems of governance, the bureaucracy, and some unquoted principles on which society runs.
The movie is scheduled for release on Oct 12. -
Bhoot Returns
Star Cast: Manisha Koirala, Alayana Sharma, Madhu Shalini, J. D. Chakravarthy.
Director: Ram Gopal Verma.
After having some unforgettable BO disasters like Department and Not A Love Story, RGV is back again with 'fear factor' where he will be trying to repeat the success of prequel Bhoot.
This time Rammu has roped in Manisha Koirala, Madhu Shalini and Alayana to sent chills down the spine of the masses.Though the script of Bhoot Returns, seems to be quite similar to previous horror flicks of Rammu, where a family moves in a new house and their tryst with paranormal begins.
But promos of the film well signifies that this time, Rammu is quite determined to make you sweat out of fear, so let's see if Shabbu can make people forget Manjeet of Bhoot when the movie releases on Oct 12th. -

Aiyya

Aiyya the much hyped comeback vehicle of our very own Rani Mukherjee is also scheduled to release this month.
In the movie, Rani will be seen playing the character of a small town girl whose parents want to get her married, where as contrary to her parents wish love interest of Rani is fixated to actor Surya (Prithviraj).
So let's see if this comeback vehicle zooms into BO office or just manage to crawl, as it has happened in the cases of other comeback beauties. The movie will be in theatres on Oct 12. -
Chittagong

Well it looks like after making Gangs of Wasseypur I and II, there is no looking back for Anurag Basu, who is now coming up with another reality based cine cantata Chittagong, which has got its roots in turbulence of the 1930s British India, where a 14 year old boy, Jhunku,struggled to find where he belongs.
Chittagong, also narrates the incident where British army was defeated by a ragtag army of schoolboys and their teacher, Masterda.This much awaited reality based cine cantata of Anurag will be making it to theatres on Oct 12. -
Student of The Year

Another most awaited cine flick of the year which is thoroughly stirring the gossip aisles these days is K.Jo's Student of The Year featuring newbie Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra,Varun Dhawan.
The story of SOTY revolves around the competition, envy, triumph, failure, manipulation and heartbreak among the students of St. Teresa's High School, Dehradun where the leading protagonists belonged to diverse backgrounds.
The movie showcases the cut throat competition between Abhimanyu Singh (Sidharth Malhotra) and Rohan Nanda (Varun Dhawan) to win the Student of the Year Trophy to proves one's excellence over the other.
The movie will make it celluloid on Oct 19. -
Rush

So after playing actor, and director on celluloid serial kisser Emraan will be seen playing a scribe in his upcoming cine flick Rush, which revolves around media, politics, crime and romance at the point of life and death.
In the movie Sam (Emraan) will be seen rushing in a cat and mouse chase, after his accepting an assignment offered by a media tycoon, which plunges him into a vortex of violence in a deadly game.
The movie will hit the theatres on 24th of October. -
Chakravyuh
Star Cast Esha Gupta, Abhay Deol, Arjun Rampal, Om Puri.
Director: Prakash Jha.
Chakravyuh is the story of six extraordinary characters, showcasing commitment, betrayal, social injustice, social unrest and naxalite moments.
In the movie Arjun Rampal will be seen playing the character of a cop Aadil Khan, who is assigned with a task of curbing the naxalite movement.
In order to meet his objective Arjun sends his friend Kabir (Abhay Deol) as spy in naxalites band, but after gazing the realities Kabir decides to part his ways from the ideology of his friend Aadil Khan. This Prakash Jha cine cantata will be in cinemas on Oct 24th.
