TOIFA Awards: Ranbir and Priyanka are the Best
With Times of India Film Awards taking place at BC Place in Vancouver, stars of cine galaxy once again gathered to decorate the gala event, with some taking along with them the honor whereas others returning empty handed.
So have a look at the winners who secured the glory.

Best Actor
Best Actor (Male): Ranbir Kapoor
Once again Ranbir's marvellous performance as deaf and mute Barfi in Anurag Basu's mesmerizing cine delight with same name fetched Ranbir best actor for second consecutive year.
Best Actor (Female): Priyanka Chopra
After being outmaneuvered by Vidya 'Bagchi' Balan on many award platforms finally Pee Cee's touchy performance as autistic Jhilmil in Barfi! got recognised and fetched this super fine actress a trophy for being the best.

Best Actor (Critics)
Best Actor Male Critics: Irrfan Khan
Although late but it looks like finally Irrfan Khan has it made to the league of finest actors of Bollywood. At TOIFA awards Irrfan's performance in biopic of soldier turned rebel Paan Singh Tomar was adjudged as best under Best Actor (Critics) category.
Best Actor Female Critics: Deepika
While on the other hand it was glamorous Deepika aka Veronica of Cocktail who succeeded in pleasing the critics to emerge as best in the female category of the award.

Best Debut
Best Debut (Male): Ayushman Khurana
Ruling the best debut (male) league was proud sp**m donor, Ayushmann Khurana who's performance in Vicky Donor once again got garlanded with best debutant (male) award at TOIFA.
Best Debut (Female): Ileana D'Cruz
In best female debutant category, it was southern siren Ileana who outmaneuvered every one to steal the trophy of best debutant female for her performance in Barfi.

Best Film
2012, witnessed the release of numerous path breaking movies, but the one which left everyone spellbound was Ranbir, Priyanka and Ileana starrer Barfi. This love tale of a deaf and mute free souled guy and a cute autistic girl, thoroughly succeeded in impressing the jury of TOIFA also and emerged as Best movie of the year.
Besides this, its director Anurag Basu also succeeded in grabbing the best director's trophy for crafting this impressive cine cantata.

Best Film (Critics): Gangs of Wasseypur
In Best Films Critics category, it's Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur which ruled the roost and comfortably managed to fetch the honor of being the best film in best film (critics) category.

Best Actor in Supporting Role
Best Actor in Supporting Role: Annu Kapoor
After a wait of decades, seasoned actor Annu Kapoor finally got a recognition on an award platform. Annu won the best actor in supporting role award for his performance as Dr Chaddha of Vicky Donor.
Best Actress in Supporting Role: Dolly Ahluwalia
On the other hand it was Vicky's unconventional alcoholic mom, in cine flick Vicky Donor, Dolly Ahluwalia who after winning a National award for her performance also won TOIFA's trophy for being Best actress in supporting role too.

With his performance in antagonist avatar in Agneepath, Rishi Kapoor firmly succeeded in impressing the jury and emerged as Best actor in negative role.

In the Best actor in comic role category it was Bachchan Jr Abhishek, who took away the trophy for his performance in Bol Bachchan.
