Reality check: Is SRK’s popularity deteriorating?
Over the years cine business seems to have moved out of the confines of BO, and now even reception of any movie on the small screen, up till great extent ascertains the popularity of any star among the masses.
If latest buzz is to be believed, then it reveals that, unlike the TRP ratings that some of the recent blockbusters received on their worldwide TV premier, TRP of SRK's Jab Tak Hai Jaan has turned out to be quite low, which gives us ample reasons to speculate that 'SRK is loosing his charm among the masses?'
So in order to substantiate what we are saying, we bring to you the TRP scores of some of the recent talked about movies which were quite high as compared to the scores of JTHJ.

As per the facts 3 Idiots, the masterpiece that dished out of Aamir's perfection lab received 10.9 TRP scores when it was scheduled to premiere on small screen a few years back.

Undoubtedly Ra.One managed to bank a good moolah, but on content front it turned out to be a disaster.
But inspite of that this Sci-fi dream of SRK somehow managed to charm the die-hard SRK fans, because of whom TRP score of Ra.One got pushed upto 6.7.

Although, Ajay's Son of Sardar lost the SCREEN occupancy battle to SRK's Jab Tak Hai Jaan but, surely this recent reports pertaining to JTHJ would have healed Ajay's wounds because at its premier Ajay's SOS received a TRP of 5.1, which was far more than that of JTHJ.
So finally Ajay have the reasons to smile.

Well some trade analysts may call it because of ongoing IPL season that Jab Tak Hai Jaan could manage only a meager TRP rating of 2.4
But at the same time a fact which we can't deny is that, popularity of a star like SRK could not be so flimsy that it can be outmaneuvered by a sports event, so Is SRK no longer a star of the masses?
