Undoubtedly, many stars are heading for small screen these days but, they are doing it by choice but keeping in view, Mallika's withering away stardom up till an extent we can exclaim that in her case it is surely not by choice.

Last cine stint of Mallika, KLPD, along side Vivek 'Self obsessed' Oberoi, couldn't make any dent on BO.
Although tons of hype was created around the movie but on factual front it looked more of a desperate choice than a willful one which she badly needed in order to keep her career rolling in Bollywood.

If we go by the BO performance of Mallika's last five Bollywood movies comprising, KLPD, Hiss, Maan Gaye Mugal-E-Azam etc, then all of them can safely be pushed into the bunch of forgettable movie, because none them could succeed in fetching even a decent foot-fall in the movie arenas.
So isn't it a conspicuous proof of, Mallika's deteriorating popularity.
