British actor Kirby Howell-Baptiste, who currently plays Elena Felton on 'Killing Eve' has been added to the cast of the live-action adaptation of 'Cruella.' Howell-Baptiste has a strong resume behind her, having made appearances in 'Barry,' 'The Good Place,' and 'Veronica Mars.'

'Cruella' is directed by Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya) with Tony McNamara doing the recent script. Andrew Gunn is producing for Disney Pictures. Emma Stone will be taking on the role of Cruella de Vil, previously played by Glenn Close. The movie also stars Emma Thompson , Paul Walter Hauser, Joel Fry, and Adam Basil.

The film was to be released on December 23, 2020 but has been bumped to a May 28, 2021 release date.
