Elizabeth Moss, the star of "The Handmaid's Tale" is being considered for a starring role in Taika Waitit's "Next Goal Wins." The Emmy winner who opted out of Jane Campion's "The Power of Dog" could now star opposite Michael Fassbinder.

Michael Fassbinder will play the Dutch coach Thomas Rongen. Mike Brett and Steve Jamison's documentary 'Next Goal Wins' chronicles the national football team of American Samoa as they try to recover from the indignity of being known as one of the weakest football teams in the world, and to qualify for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Waititi will direct this sports dramedy before he leaves for 'Thor: Love and Thunder' He co-wrote the feature adaptation of 'Next Goal Wins' along Iain Morris, with Garrett Basch and Andy Serkis producing the project.
