Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and the lovely Emily Blunt will be bringing a Disney theme park ride to life. "Jungle Cruise" finds scientist Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt) in search of an Amazonian magic tree with medicinal values, who ends meeting a rugged boat captain named Frank (Dwayne Johnson) as they embark on a crazy adventure.



"Jungle Cruise" is set during the early 20th century, when a riverboat captain named Frank (Dwayne Johnson) takes a scientist and her brother on a mission into a jungle to find the Tree of Life which is believed to possess healing powers. All the while, the trio must fight against dangerous wild animals and a competing German expedition.

Written by the duo of Glenn Ficarra and John Requa and directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the movie stars Emily Blunt, Dwayne Johnson,Édgar Ramírez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti in pivotal roles. The movie has a release date of July 24, 2020.
