Shelley Catherine Hennig is a High School Senior at Destrehan High School, Destrehan, Louisiana. In a competition that comprised three categories; Sonya Balmores, Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2004 was voted the First Runner Up and Helen Marie Salas, Miss Nevada Teen USA 2004 as the Second Runner Up. Amanda Williams, Miss Maryland Teen USA 2004 and Tiffany Stroud, Miss Tennessee Teen USA were adjudged as the Third Runner Up and Fourth Runner Up respectively.
Breanna Ranae Abernathey, Miss North Dakota USA 2004 walked away with the Congeniality Award.
The telecast panel consisted among others of Rachel Boston, Alison Sweeney, actress and super-model Carlyle Nabers, Fashion Editor at Teen People Magazine, Jorge Ramon and Executive Producer of NBC Las Vegas Scott Steindorff.
The show was co-hosted by Access Hollywood's Tony Potts, and Vanessa Minnillo, Miss Teen USA 1998, as multi-platinum R&B artist Brandy enthralled everybody with a special performance of song "Who Is She 2 U".
