Jemima Khan has revealed that she's not all set to marry Hugh Grant - despite the rumours.
After an appearance on GMTV to promote her work for Unicef, the mother of two denied that there were any wedding plans in the offing.
"Can we expect wedding bells?" asked GMTV. "Well, the answer's no... you won't be expected that," Jemima replied, clearly flummoxed by the non-Unicef angle of the questioning.
And when she was pushed she politely added: "I'll make you a promise. If you ask me back another time, I will give you all the salacious gossip you could possibly want, but for now, better to focus on Unicef."
However, she did later tell The Daily Telegraph that she had her fingers crossed when she made the promise.
Clearly uncomfortable talking about her private life, the former wife of Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan, went on to admit to the broadsheet that she doesn't follow tabloid gossip and so wasn't prepared for the chat about the Daily Mail's marriage prediction.
"I have to say that I don't get the tabloids any more and I knew nothing about it, so it took me a bit by surprise when he asked me that question," she said.
"But it's not true," she reiterated.
Hugh and Jemima have been seen frolicking on beaches and enjoying each other's company since the end of 2004.
